ACE Adventure Resort

New River Gorge, WV

A brand-new country music tradition is coming to the mountains of West Virginia.

Boots in the Gorge Country Music Festival has officially announced the full lineup for its first-ever year, and the debut event is arriving in a big way. Set for July 31st and August 1st, 2026 at ACE Adventure Resort, this two-day celebration will bring legendary country hitmakers and rising stars together for an unforgettable weekend of music, camping, and adventure in the heart of the New River Gorge National Park.

Leading the inaugural festival are two powerhouse headliners: Clint Black and Josh Turner.

A true country music icon, Clint Black helped define the sound of modern country in the late ’80s and ’90s. With more than 20 No. 1 singles, 22 Top 10 hits, and over 20 million records sold worldwide, Black’s catalog includes classics like “Killin’ Time,” “A Better Man,” “Like the Rain,” and “When I Said I Do.” His traditional country sound, heartfelt songwriting, and unmistakable voice have made him one of the most respected artists of his generation. Having Clint Black headline the very first Boots in the Gorge sets the tone for what this festival represents — timeless country music delivered at the highest level.

Joining him on the mountaintop is the unmistakable baritone of Josh Turner. Since breaking out with “Long Black Train,” Turner has built a career around deep, rich vocals and songs that blend faith, love, and classic country storytelling. With multi-platinum hits like “Your Man,” “Would You Go With Me,” and “Why Don’t We Just Dance,” Turner continues to captivate audiences nationwide. His powerful live performances and strong traditional roots make him a perfect fit for a festival grounded in authenticity and mountain spirit.

Beyond the headliners, the inaugural Boots in the Gorge lineup brings together a dynamic mix of country legends, outlaw storytellers, and rising stars. Fans can catch the Southern rock energy and crowd-favorite hits of Confederate Railroad alongside the raw, gritty songwriting of Ward Davis. Sister duo Tigirlily Gold adds a fresh, harmony-driven sound that’s been making waves across the country scene, while Sadie Bass delivers heartfelt vocals and modern country flair. Adding even more diversity to the weekend, CieraTheRapper brings a bold, genre-blending style that pushes the boundaries of today’s country landscape. Together, the supporting lineup rounds out two full days of music that celebrate both the roots of country and the next generation shaping its future — with even more announcements still to come.
